What is Gathera?
Gathera is church management software for membership records, children, events, attendance, birthdays, location maps, and SMS communication. It brings everyday church administration into one shared workspace.
How do members register?
Your church shares its own registration link. Members can enter their details on a phone or computer, and parents can use the same link to register their children.
Can members update their own details?
Yes. Registered members can verify their phone number with an SMS code before updating their own profile. Church administrators can also update member and child records from the dashboard.
Can we follow up with people who missed a service?
Yes. Attendance records and absence reports help your team identify absentees. You can open an SMS with their numbers already added, then review the message before sending.
Can we download our church records?
Yes. The membership Excel download includes members and children in one workbook, so your team can also work with its records outside Gathera.
